Hunting in this area of North Texas is exceptional and it is extremely common to see large whitetail deer of 150+ class on the property. The ranch is comprised of approximately 870 acres which joins two ranches that are 8,000 + acres and are not commercially hunted. The 267 Hunting Ranch owners have strictly managed the ranch for trophy whitetail with a year round feeding program. Over the last four years, this program has paid off with mature trophy quality deer. The owners estimate the buck to doe ratio to be close to one to one. There are also a few mule deer that travel the ranch from time to time. The current quail population on the ranch is unbelievable and quail have not been hunted in several years. It is very common to see several coveys while riding the ranch roads. Dove hunting can be outstanding as well, especially around the pond areas where there are typically native sunflowers and other sources of food coupled with the water. The current owners have killed over 70 wild hogs on the property over the last four years. The ranch is home to ducks, turkey, coyotes, bobcats and even an occasional javelina.
