Terrain:

Besides the good population of high genetic whitetail, Hideout Ranch is also heavily stocked with exotics which include Ibex, Oryx, White Fallow, Axis, Black Buck, and Black Ram. There is a healthy aoudad population which takes advantage of the rocky and mountainous terrain. Bird and waterfowl hunting are also excellent at the Hideout Ranch. The lakes and ponds provide for great waterfowl hunting in the winter months and offer excellent dove hunting in early fall. This year, Bobwhite quail are prolific on the ranch.

Improvements:

Beautiful stocked 5 acre lake just below the Hideout Lodge area as well as approximately 10 other ponds and stock tanks scattered throughout the ranch. One of the other larger ponds is around 2.5 acres when full and has dead timber on the catch side of the pond making it a great bass pond. There have been several trophy bass that have been caught from this pond! The gorgeous lake below the lodge is blue to clear water and has a sandy bank perfect for swimming, and a full size covered boat dock with electricity and boat lift. The dock is ideal for swimming or fishing entertainment and allows covered storage for smaller boats.  Near the center of the lake is a lighted water fountain that gives a phenomenal look to the blue water and also provides aeration for the fish.
