Location:
Located in Western Hardeman County on FM Road 680, a few miles north of highway 287, and approximately 12 miles from Quanah, Texas, near the Goodlett community.
Terrain:
The Bond Place consists of a variety of brush, vegetation, and a few hardwoods. It makes a great combination hunting and cattle ranch and is well balanced with some areas having very thick mesquite and hackberry, other areas with more open grass land. There are older cultivated fields that are now in grass and could be easily converted into food plots within the ranch that would also make a great food source. These grasses on the property are thick and provide outstanding grazing and cover for wildlife. The land is primarily rolling with some areas of more elevation change and also several draws throughout the property that act as prime bedding and travel areas for all sorts of wildlife. This is a prime bird hunting property that has tons of prime quail habitats and just the right amount of brush to allow them to be hunted easily. The dove hunting in this area is also phenomenal with all sorts of forbs on the property and it is located in a well-known flyway. This area of the county is known for producing large deer and the Bond Place has the vegetation, food sources, and water to draw in all types of wildlife from the area!
