The 1,668 acre ranch has 2 homes. The first home was built in 1999 with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, and den. This currently is being used for the on-site ranch hands but can also be used as a hunter’s cabin. The main, owner's house, was built in 2001 and is an Austin Stone 4 bedroom, 3 bath, with open living area, media room, game room with pool table and shuffle board and an open kitchen with a large back patio overlooking the lake and one of the most beautiful views in the state. The entire ranch is surrounded by an 8’ high game fence and is well stocked with whitetail deer which have been introduced from two different scientific breeding operations. The Mountain is also lightly stocked with exotics which include sika deer, fallow, blackbuck, and a few rams. There is a healthy aoudad population which take advantage of the rocky and mountainous terrain.

Bird and waterfowl hunting are also good on The Mountain. The large lake provides for waterfowl hunting in the winter months and offers excellent dove hunting in early fall. This year, bobwhite quail are prolific on the ranch.
